Order:
In the references 1st to 19th read above, orders have been issued declaring the new registration sub-Districts, Village/ Ward secretariats as offices of the Joint Sub-Registrar/ Sub-Registrar and the concerned Panchayat Secretaries as Sub-Registrars for registering the documents in Village/ ward Secretariats.
2. In the reference 20th read above, the Commissioner & Inspector General, Registration & Stamps has requested the Government to issue notification withdrawing the Registration services at Village/ ward Secretariats.
3. Government after careful examination of the entire issue have decided to withdraw the orders issued declaring the new registration sub-Districts, Village/ Ward secretariats as offices of the Joint Sub-Registrar/ Sub- Registrar and the concerned Panchayat Secretaries as Sub-Registrars for registering the documents in village/ ward Secretariats.
4. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the extraordinary Gazette of the Andhra Pradesh, dated 27.09.2024
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under section 5,6 and 7 of the Registration Act, 1908, and partial modification of all the notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby order that the orders issued in the references 1st to 19th read above are withdrawn with immediate effect.
2. The above notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
3. The Commissioner and Inspector General, Registration & Stamps shall take further necessary action.
