Kind attention is invited to the reference 3rd cited, wherein the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Andhra Pradesh has directed to necessary action for declaration of probation of Ward Secretary functionaries as per the rules in-force as the Regional Director cum Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration is the appointing authority for the said posts. In reference 4th cited, the Municipal Commissioners of Visakhapatnam region are requested to furnish certain information in the Prescribed proforma to this office to take further action in this regard.
Further, in the reference 5th cited, the Government has issued instructions to send the list of recommended functionaries to the HODs for necessary approval for the declaration of the probation of the Ward Secretaries and to implement the revised pay scales.
Therefore, all the Municipal Commissioners of Visakhapatnam Region are requested to send the list of recommended functionaries duly approved by the District Collectors so as to send to the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration for necessary approval for the declaration of the probation of the Ward Secretaries and to implement the revised pay scales.
The Commissioners are also requested to send the list of recommended functionaries (both soft & hard copies) approved by the District Collectors along with copy of Service Registers attested by the concerned Municipal Commissioner to this office by the concerned clerk on 18.12.2021 without fail.
